Weekly Plans

[I wanted to say I'm sorry if these weekly plans posts are super boring for all except my fellow Type-As, but they have been helping me organize my thoughts and provide a place for me to track how I'm really doing with meals & exercise. I heard a rumor that there are things called planners for tracking these kinds of things, but I've learned it's best not to trust rumors. Because after much weeping on a cold day in '99, it turns out that Zack Morris was in fact NOT dead.]

I overestimated how much free time I would have last week by a long shot, especially since we didn't have any baby-sitting help for Bella during the weekdays and my family was in town for my cousin's wedding over the weekend. It's hard for me to figure out exactly what I can get done in my very limited free time and even harder to prioritize. I endlessly question what will keep me happiest and most sane during those coveted free minutes. Should it be chores? blogging? exercise? reading? napping? I'm struggling to admit to myself that I really cannot get most things done and I need to settle for one or two basic tasks each day and call it good enough. So for this week I'm going to try to undershoot on my goals so that I can feel accomplished when I meet them, rather than frustrated when I don't.

Notes: I'll add in stroller walks most days if possible. I'm going to do my new Ripped DVD in place of the 30-Day-Shred for now and will only be doing it 3 times per week vs. everyday. I would love to go hardcore with my exercise, but I simply don't have the time and I need to reserve some muscle power for hefting the jumbo offspring.

  1. I just started Ripped in 30 too. I have multiple Jillian Michaels dvds b/c I like the variety. The blonde girl on the right annoys me for some reason on Rin30.
