This was even more fun than I thought it would be. I am inspired by the homes below. There are Ikea or Pottery Barn Catalog worthy rooms and there are pretty, bright rooms that show the clutter of real life. Now I REALLY want to dig into my blank slate of a house - you all have given me ideas.
Have fun checking out these homes! And check out these blogs, too. Good people.
So fun to see all of the different ways of making a house a home!
ReplyDeleteWanted to share my very exotic home as well but didn't make the deadline! http://www.flickr.com/photos/theavengoddess/sets/72157631442168284/
ReplyDeleteIt's from my time working and living in Qatar. Couldn't share them earlier since I worked in a sensitive job.
Thank you so much for doing this! It's comforting to know I'm not the only one who has rooms that are "a work in progress" as well as many wishes for the next house!
ReplyDeleteBest post ev-va! I love HGTV but we don't have cable. This is as close as I get. I've been checking your blog for the last few days hoping this post would be up. I was just about to put Marin to bed and I saw it - so the toddler's still up but I got to look at a bunch of cute houses -haha!
ReplyDeleteThank for hosting this, I loved seeing everyones homes!
ReplyDeleteThis was awesome! So glad I squeaked in right before the deadline!
ReplyDeleteThat was so much fun to read! Makes me wish I would have posted my house... I didn't because I felt like I had just done a tour when we moved in... oh well. But, it was even better than House Hunters or Love it or List it or any of those other HGTV shows that I can't get enough of!
